Stand up and get noticed. As a Design Award winner, you not only receive the respect and admiration of your peers, your profile is raised throughout the entire flooring industry and the A & D community. Winners are celebrated on the cover of Floor Focus and in other national trade publications as well as in local business press and online.
All Starnet members working in connection with design firms or project architects are eligible to enter. Enter online or download entry forms here.
The entry must be submitted by a member and incorporate at least one Starnet preferred vendor commercial flooring product which was purchased and installed by the member.
A winning individual or team is chosen in seven different categories:
- Retail – New for 2012
- Corporate
- Hospitality/Public Space
- Healthcare — sponsored by AAHID
- Education
- Unique Installation Challenge — sponsored by CFI
- Environmental Achievement — sponsored by CARE
The floor is the focus, with each entry judged on the following criteria:
- Creative use of flooring
- Flooring design and integration into the overall space
- How well design meets client objectives
